The holding pattern that has been set in place for over one year, due to lack of water service continues, BUT .... that isn't going to stop us from doing our part for this community. Our 3 year old daughter attends Children's House, a preschool that is a part of the Beginnings' campus in Briceland, Ca.
After 30 precious years the little Children’s House Preschool is excited to announce plans to expand the classroom. The staff and board have decided that it is high time that a multipurpose room be added on to the existing facility. This room could be a space used for yoga, dance and a place to play and explore on rainy days. Additionally, the older children that participate in Focus Group, Children’s House equivalent of Kindergarten, can have an area to focus on their reading and writing skills without the distractions from the littlest members of the school. It is estimated that the cost of this new structure could be as high as $30,000 to complete.
ALES 4 NAILS - BEER PAIRING FUNDRAISER
It is for this reason that the Gyppo Ale Mill is proud to present Ales 4 Nails - A Beer Pairing Fundraiser to help Beginning kickstart their the funding campaign. We have gathered up 6 different kinds of exceptional craft beer from around the Pacific Northwest. These beers will be paired with 5 small plates that are prepared by our good friend, Salmon Creek's own Chef Harley Charron. Charron has volunteered to create the pairing menu and prepare our feast. He has over 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry and has even done fundraising beer pairing dinners in the restaurant he previously owned and was head chef of in Yachats, Oregon. Speaking from personal experience, my dining experience with him in charge have been mouth watering! The Ales 4 Nails fundraiser will take place the 21st of March at 6pm. Gyppo will simply but elegantly transform The Octagon, on the Beginnings' campus in Briceland, California into a German beer hall. A donation of $75 per ticket is requested to attend this event. SEATING WILL BE LIMITED TO JUST 50 GUEST. Don't wait to secure your ticket!
HOW TO PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS
Living in such a rural environment (and our lack of facility) makes purchasing tickets a little more work than your regular event. Below are some options for you to choose. Hopefully you'll find something that is convenient for your needs.
1. TELEPHONE - Get on the horn and give Julie a ring at 707 223 3443. I check my messages often in case I do miss your call. We can make arrangements to get you your ticket(s).
2. EMAIL - Shoot me an email at julie@gyppo.com. This is by your fastest options. I am, fortunately or unfortunately quite tied to my computer.
3. SOCIAL MEDIA - Post a message onto our Facebook page or send us a private message. We try to check it once a day and sometime more often.
4. IN PERSON - Stop by and visit the lovely Julia Anderson, Director of the Beginnings' Campus. She'll get you a ticket and offer you some Ales 4 Nails Schwag. Keep reading to find out more!
DONATE ONLY OR GLUTEN INTOLERANT OPTIONS
If you are gluten intolerant or just want to donate to this cause, we have a few options for you. Depending on the success of the Beer Pairing Dinner, there is a possibility of a Hard Cider or Wine Pairing Dinner to continue our fundraising effort. Who doesn't love the comfort of a zipped hoodie. Show your pride walking around town in this stylish zipped hoodie. Sizes come in men, women and youth. This thank you gift will magically appear to you with a $100 donation.

Can't live without your own lightsaber, lunch tote and hoodie? That sounds great to us! Buy them all and we'll even throw in a set (4) of beer glassware with our Ales 4 Nails logo included. This glassware will be used at our event and if can't make it to our event or prefer to fill these with hard cider this is the donation package for you.

There a few different options for securing these limited edition "Thank You" gifts.

2. Hit up the other Julia! Stop by at Beginning and say "Hi" to the fabulous Julia Anderson. This extraordinary lady not only keeps the Beginnings' campus running like a well oiled machine, but can also add your name to the list of donors and take your information and cash to make your "Thank You" gift magically appear in your mailbox. How cool is she!
All event schwag will be mailed out near when our event takes place. Minimum orders must be met for us to cost effectively provide "Thank You" gifts to our donors. With that said, share away.
