We are thrilled to welcome veterans Blues & Soul band, the Funnicators to the Gyppo Ale Mill! The Funicators are a veteran Blues and Soul band that is dedicated to having fun with their music. All four members share lead vocals. The Band is made up of Mumzer on harmonic, Robbie McKee on guitar, Steve Carvalho on bass and Michael Curran on drums. The band has played together for 10 years and is known for getting everyone up and dancing. Plus, they are also celebrating the release of their first C.D.

Year in and year out the Lost Coast is the place to be for Halloween. Options for fun include a hayride from Mi Mochima, Trunk or Treat at the Lighthouse and a Halloween Costume Contest at Gyppo! This year we are adding a twist! Join us and Angel’s Pet Spaw as we include our fur family friends in the festivities. That right! Pet’s wil be included in this year’s costume contest!

Everyone will of course receive the traditional choice of a Trick or Treats. In addition to that, we’ll have four best-dressed winners who will win a special prize from Gyppo for the following categories announced at 8 pm.

With Matt Rooney on upright bass and vocals, Gregg Gold strumming the guitar, Rick Zechman flexing his skills on the banjo and dobro, and Jim Woglom rounding it out on guitar, they truly bring the magic of cosmic jugband musics to life. The Blueberry Hill Boogie Band is a good-times rock & soul duo that takes requests from audiences on the Boogie Box, the world's only human-powered jukebox! Based out of Southern Humboldt, musicians Daniel Nickerson & Tayloranne Finch play a unique blend of vintage tunes with a relaxed feeling and unusual instrumentation that includes the high and lonesome sound of the musical saw. Gyppo Ale Mill is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting the long-awaited second annual Lost Coast Fresh Hop Fest in beautiful Shelter Cove, California on October 14th, 2023. We will be joined by It’s Alive Kombucha, Seaquake Brewing, Port O’Pints Brewing, Humboldt Cider Company, North Spur Brewing, Mad River Brewery, 6 Rivers Brewery and Trinity County Brewing Company

There are aromas and flavors in freshly harvested hop flowers that cannot be found even so much as a day or two after they are picked. Gyppo's Head Brewer, Jared Smith, along with some of the other brewers and KMUD’s Lauren Schmitt will be arriving at Alexander Valley Hops on harvest day, gathering fresh Chinook hops and delivering them to the participating breweries THE SAME DAY so as to maximize their effect. The breweries will then each brew up their own “fresh hop” beverage that they are excited to debut and share with all of you exclusively at The Lost Coast Fresh Hop Fest. This is a chance for us all to come together and celebrate what we love not only about craft beverages, but the bounty of the summer growing season and all that it provides us.

In the Gyppo vibe, this fest is family friendly and there will be activities for the kiddos. A fun event for everyone!

Gyppo aims to give back to the community that we all love and support, which makes KMUD an obvious choice to be the non-profit that will receive a percentage of proceeds collected from the event. KMUD has been keeping the community entertained and informed for nearly 4 decades. We are so thankful for everything they do!

We are looking for sponsors whose vision aligns with ours of continuing to make our community stronger than ever by giving back to those in need. There are five levels of sponsorship. They will all benefit your business from extended exposure through media campaigns, promotional efforts directed toward your targeted demographic, and event advertising. Every second Friday of the month, the Gyppo Ale Mill welcomes one local nonprofit to host their Pints 4 Nonprofits Event and this month we are thrilled to welcome the King Range Alliance. The King Range Alliance inspire involvement of students, visitors and the community to steward, preserve and restore the natural life of the King Range National Conservation Area.

During this event, Gyppo donates $1 for every beer purchased between a two-hour slot between 5-7 pm to the King Range Alliance.

Additionally, Gyppo gives a $60 gift certificate to auction off to guests during the event to squeak out a little more fun and funds!
